This origin is also one of the world's youngest countries. After gaining its sovereignty in 2002, Timor-Leste endured a period of enormous economic upheaval as oil reserves ran low. Coffee-growing infrastructure quickly developed and revealed an incredible environment for nurturing specialty lots — with Hibrido de Timor, Moka and Typica varieties flourishing in the county's rich soils.
Set one municipality back from the Northern coastline and its stunning coral reefs, the coffee crops of the Parami village are collected daily and Honey-processed at the central Atsabe wet mill in Baboe Kraik.
