Renardo Ovalle is part of a large family in the coffee production of the Huehuetenango region. All farms are grouped under the name of Empty 58 , In tribute to his grandfather Jorge Vides who created the first farm La Bolsa in 1958. The Ovalle family invests enormously humanly and socially, including a day care center and a children's school, meals for all workers and higher pay than most farms in the country.
La Bolsa Is a 108 hectare farm, situated on a limestone soil between 1300 and 1600 meters above sea level and which enjoys very good weather conditions. La Bolsa has won numerous awards for the quality of its coffees, including a Cup of Excellence in 2002.
