Coffee Facts
El Roble is owned by the Salaverria family and is part of the Los Nogales estate. They operate the estate as small seperate sub farms allowing them to keep the varietals seperate. This year we selected an exclusive black honey process from the El Roble farm. The coffee has been carefully hand harvested after which the pulp has been removed but a large amount of mucilage has been left on the beans. The coffee was then dried on raised african beds for about 20 days.
Located in the west Minas Gerais region of Brazil. Veloso estate is a large farm that grows a wide range of varietals and focuses on producing really great coffees. We've selected this particular coffee as it has a traditional nutty, chocolate, sweet profile that works particularly well in a blend designed for espresso. The farm is both Rainforest Alliance and UTZ certified.
Horsham have developed the blend and roast style to suit espresso extraction and it's easy to work with and fairly forgiving. It also tastes great in milk and the dark chocolate notes really cut through.
