The organisation promotes sustainable agricultural practices and uses many waste products from the processing of coffee as organic fertiliser.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eDuring harvest between November - April the coffee is collected manually when ripe before being transported to a centralised washing station for pulping, washing and drying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eOne of the contributing farms for Cocafelol is Las Toreras, ownded by Edgar Dubon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIn 2002, Edgar Dubon travelled to the United States. He was there for four years before returning home and buying the plot of land that has become Finca Las Toreras. Coffee had been a part of the family history, and so it was natural to start cultivating coffee to continue the tradition. It is also a labour of love for him.
