It’s that time of year again where we release this one off special edition for the festive season. When putting together this blend, we are very much focused on the flavours of Christmas paying particular attention to those that will pair well with other seasonal treats such as mince pie, gingerbread, stollen, Christmas cake, Yule Log, Trifle……………..!
This year’s blend brings together the wonderfully balanced and much loved Brazil Rainha da Paz with the ever popular natural processed lot from Finca La Bolsa in Guatemala and a super sweet and syrupy honey processed Honduran from Miriam Perez. When developing it, we played around with these components in varying percentages to bring the perfect amount of boozy character whilst still displaying excellent balance and depth. We are so pleased with the result which delivers notes of marzipan, sticky dried fruit and hints of orange – all held together with deliciously creamy milk chocolate character from the Brazil. The overall profile is rich and bold with an exceptionally smooth character, being versatile and well balanced it will work well both black and with milk. We recommend this coffee for use with a French Press, Stove Top, Espresso machine or Aeropress to really maximise it’s character.
