Coffee Facts
One not to miss is La Cuesta from the Tarrazú Valley of Costa Rica.
Textural and absolutely delicious, dried fig leads into a wonderful chocolate and hazelnut dream come true. Produced by Marco Tulio Naranjo, La Cuesta is located in Santa Cruz de León Cortés. When he bought his 4-hectare farm more than 10 years ago, Marco introduced coffee by planting Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra and Typica. With these varieties thriving in the Tarrazú Valley’s fertile volcanic soil and optimal coffee growing altitudes, Marco very quickly and successfully established La Cuesta within the speciality coffee sector.
Highlighting that classic, well rounded Costa Rican flavour profile, La Cuesta works wonders as a wake-me-up breakfast espresso. A tasty, feel-good cup to be enjoyed with or without milk and shared amongst friends - we simply can’t get enough. Enjoy.
