Coffee Facts

Bright, sweet, and full of character—this natural-processed coffee from the highlands of northern Peru is everything we love in a cup. It comes from the Perfiles Cooperative, a group of 219 smallholder farmers working in the rugged terrain of Chontali and Pomahuaca. Grown at 1900–2050 metres above sea level and dried on raised beds in the sun, this lot is big on fruit and balance.

Expect a juicy hit of tropical fruit up front, with lemon zest cutting through and a toffee apple sweetness that lingers. It’s the kind of coffee that brings you in with bold flavour but keeps you coming back with a soft, full-bodied structure and a clean, crisp finish.

Pomahuaca isn’t just beautiful—it’s rich in culture, biodiversity, and resilience. Coffee here grows among native trees and orchids, often under shade, with a strong emphasis on agroecology. The Perfiles Co-op helps producers access better prices and support, all while maintaining quality and environmental stewardship.

This lot is a natural process, which means the cherries are dried whole before the beans are extracted—locking in those fruity, jammy notes. Great as a filter to let the sweetness shine, or a banger of an espresso if you’re into jammy, syrupy shots.
