About
Our roastery is based in the south-side of Glasgow, just a stone-throw away from the city centre.
We treat coffee as an experience- not a commodity. Our aim is to create truly memorable and unique coffees that can be enjoyed at home- or in a speciality coffee shop.
We take great pride in our sourcing methods and encourage you to read more about our coffee's origins below.
Our roaster Ichel is responsible for translating the flavour profiles from the cupping table and sample roaster into a production volume and she does it with flair and consistency. Her attention to detail is meticulous. Once roasted, each of our coffees is represented by a unique artwork. These visual depictions come from the sensory perceptions of our Head of Coffee, Eduarda, as interpreted by our coffee-loving designers. You'll see how unique shapes, colours, textures & illustrations are used to tell the story of each carefully selected microlot. We hope you enjoy them just as much as we do.
Our sourcing policy is built around relationships, working collaboratively throughout our supply chain to ensure we can source high quality coffees over the long term. We work closely with key producer partners, frequently travelling to origin as well as supporting programmes with producers to create shared value.
It’s essential to understand the context on the ground, meet with producers face-to-face and listen to their challenges. This is why we frequently travel to origin.
We carefully select the producers we work with based on their commitment to high quality coffee whilst meeting our full traceability. Our strong supplier relationships open up opportunities for collaborative programmes. We take a holistic approach, planning initiatives that meet local needs and will help further improve the economic, social and environmental sustainability of our coffee supply chains.
We are delighted to announce that our roastery is the first in the world to achieve Carbon Neutral Gold Standard.
