We’re committed to combatting the climate crisis, as efficiently as we can, so we’ve joined 1% for the Planet. We’re not interested in virtue signalling or greenwashing, and we’re far from perfect, but we are committed to giving what we can to make the biggest impact possible.

So we decided to plant trees. Don’t worry, we’re not planting them ourselves, not sure we’d be any good at it, we’ll stick to roasting coffee and leave the planting to the experts. These experts are Eden Reforestation Projects, who are so good at it that they've planted over half a billion trees. Not just a tree, but a native tree, with local people employed to do the planting and stewarding, reducing poverty and planting trees at the same time. Pretty decent idea, we reckon. We’ve currently planted 12,487 trees and created 124.9 workdays
