Coffee production in Peru is centred around four regions in the central spine of the country with an altitudes ranging up to 2000m. The wide range of varieties are cultivated, including Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, and Mondo Novo. There is a strong culture of organic farming in the country, so it is not unusual to see Peruvian coffees marked as Organic.
