Salford Roasters was formed in September 2016, with the mission to bring ‘Proper Coffee’ en masse to Salford and Manchester people and beyond, and to inspire a passion for speciality beans.

From a garage to a roastery. From the coffee shops of Athens in my teens to the funky cafes of the NQ. To living with a chronic condition and relying on coffee to keep going. My coffee journey for over a quarter of a century has been quite unique. One thing it has taught me is that speciality coffee should be for everybody. Just like our city, Salford Roasters is inclusive, and our approach reflects it’s innovative industrial past and modern fearless future.

Above all, here at Salford Roasters we want to show decency. Decent to each other, to you our customers, and to our suppliers and coffee farmers. Which means looking after one another, going that extra mile, trying to be decent in everything we do, from customer service excellence to paying the coffee farmers the right price.

We will always be transparent in what we do. We’ll let you know how we operate as a Roastery, the systems and processes we use; which importers we are collaborating with; how we create social value, and importantly how we operate as a team. Transparency runs through everything we do.
