Ask the Roaster - Grant from Cold Blow
How was the Roastery founded, what was the inspiration?
After working as an Arborist for 15 years I developed a keen interest in coffee after a trip to New Zealand. My coffee business began with a mobile espresso van on Hythe beach, serving coffee from a tiny Piaggio Ape. From this I then opened Tenterden’s Nutmeg Delicatessen and Coffee Shop. After 7 years of trading I began roasting at home and caught the bug., Coldblow Coffee was launched.
