This is a fantastically fresh crop Ethiopian (having only landed within the last few weeks) from the Jimma Farmers Cooperative (JFMACU) from the Jimma zone, in the Oromia region. It’s a well established cooperative with 141,146 members providing coffee. Known for producing high quality washed and natural coffees grown at especially high elevations. The regions favourable tropical climate and abundant rainfall contribute heavily to the cup quality. 

What I love most about this coffee is it’s versatility and all round character whether it’s brewed as french press, filter or espresso. You have this initial bright grapefruit acidity that leads into a rich syrupy body of dark stone fruits and fudge, endlessly suppable!
