About

From our passion for really good coffee has emerged a small but fine micro-speciality roastery in the German town of Bielefeld.

At Hot Roasted Love, we roast on the lighter side to emphasise the character of each country of origin and their associated tastes.

Our mission is to make people happy by roasting excellent coffee that has been ethically sourced and traded.

Our goal is to offer a variety of coffees for people who, like us, love the full range of different coffees - "Handmade coffee with passion."

Hot Roasted Love is constantly expanding its work with extremely good green coffee and ensuring fairness throughout the entire production chain, seeking our Direct Trade opportunities wherever possible.

Environmental protection is close to our hearts. Since we do not want to put more waste into the environmental cycle than absolutely necessary, the packaging for our coffees is made of kraft paper with barrier film - made in Germany. Without aluminium, it is as environmentally friendly as possible.

As ever, when we bring in a European roaster we like to avoid the usual suspects.  We had been keeping a close eye on Hot Roasted Love for a while - not least because they have an awesome name and they post great pictures of Sascha wearing an array of cool hats.

Coupled with these attributes, we started hearing more and more positive noises coming out of Germany about their roasting style and commitment to Direct Trade initiatives - we just had to get them involved.
