Coffee Facts

Embark on a sensory journey with Goatherd Coffee's Dulima, meticulously crafted to capture the quintessential coffee profile of the central and south Huila region. Immerse yourself in the rich flavours of caramel and chocolate, a symphony inspired by the indigenous Pijaos people, who revered the region's iconic Tolima volcano as the "Snow Queen.

Dulima was born in 2009, a homage to the historical roots of Colombian coffee. We traverse the volcanoes and mountains of Huila, handpicking the finest beans through rigorous sensory analysis to ensure unparalleled quality and consistency from lot to lot.

Nestled in the heart of Huila, the birthplace of Colombian coffee production, our Dulima coffee embodies the dedication of local farmers. With meticulous care and attention, the crops from Pitalito, Garzón, Gigante, and other municipalities shine, embracing cutting-edge processing and farming methods.

Huila's diverse landscape, dominated by volcanoes and mountains, offers a terroir ranging from 1,500 to 2,300 meters above sea level. This elevation, coupled with fertile soils, imparts bright acidity and sweet notes, making Huila coffee a preferred choice with a balanced flavour profile.

Discover the rich history of coffee in Colombia, where the cultivation journey began with priests like Francisco Romero. From humble garden crops to commercial cultivation, the tale unfolds, and every sip of Dulima echoes this captivating narrative.

Huila coffee represents 18% of Colombian production, cherished for its harmonious blend of acidity and sweetness. Embrace a single-origin offering that stands out in quality and is always in high demand.
