About
Quarter Horse takes its name from the American horse good at running short distances and their rise through the speciality coffee scene has been just as quick as their namesake.
At Quarter Horse Coffee we source green beans through our international suppliers.
We select beans by quality and seasonality, then test-roast them in small batches. Our team then evaluates them by flavour and we roast the favourites of these for use in our shops and for our wholesale customers.
We are one of the only coffee roasters in the country to roast in-house and within full view of our cafe. Come by for a delicious coffee and you may be able to catch us in action.
Dog and Hat
Quarter Horse were a roaster on our radar for quite some time. Dave even went to speak to them when he was in Birmingham, but as Dave often does, he got lost in New Street station and couldn't find them.
Then, after the Birmingham Coffee Festival, one of our subscribers took it upon himself to send us a bag he picked up. It was so good that it immediately sprung us into action to go and speak to Nathan and the team.
