Our Story

Cult Coffee Roasters began back in 2014 when we opened our wee café in the heart of Newington, Edinburgh. The cafe itself is just a short walk from The University of Edinburgh and The Meadows, making it the perfect space to study, relax, and of course enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

Now over a decade on - Cult is proud to provide coffee to cafés and businesses all over the UK.

We Take Speciality Coffee Seriously

After years of growing our cafe into a lively and welcoming space, we embarked on a new quest: coffee roasting. Cult has been dedicated to providing customers with exceptional coffee from the very start, so you know we’re sourcing the highest quality beans for our roasts.

Working from our roastery space in Edinburgh, we have a strong focus on seasonality. Every batch of coffee is unique, and our expert team is there at every step in the roasting process to ensure the best quality beans for our customers.
