These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern entry into the Dog and Hat Ltd giveaway (the “Giveaway”), run via dogandhat.co.uk and/or Dog and Hat's social media channels. “The Promoter”, “Dog and Hat Ltd”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dog and hat Ltd of Unit 6 Malton Enterprise Park, 8 Cherry Farm Close, Malton, York, YO17 6AG (company number [108 53135]), promoter of competitions on our own social media and website.

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of Dog and Hat, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Giveaway or the selection of its winner.

Entry is free of charge and no purchase is necessary to enter or win.

By entering the Giveaway, entrants confirm they are eligible to enter and agree to be bound by these Terms.

How to Enter

Entries open at the start time specified and close at the time specified on all the promotional media (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be counted.

To enter, entrants must follow the instructions on the giveaway on the media this is published on, such as social media and or website. 

Only one entry per person is permitted for the duration of the Giveaway regardless of multiple comments on a post, unless Dog and Hat Ltd have specified multiple or bonus entry on the promotional material.

Dog and Hat accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not received for any reason outside its reasonable control.

The Prize

The prize is as specified on the promotional material (the “Prize”).

The Prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable, and no cash or other alternative will be offered.

Dog and Hat reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

Selecting a Winner

The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date, using [method, e.g. a random number generator / random comment picker].

The winner will be notified within 7 days of the competition close via their means of entry. (such as instagram or email)

If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, or does not meet the eligibility criteria in these Terms, Dog and Hat reserves the right to withdraw the Prize offer from that entrant and select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

Winner Announcement

The winner's social media username may be announced publicly on Dog and Hat's website and/or social media channels.

By entering, participants consent to their name and/or username being used in this way if they are selected as the winner.

Platform Disclaimer

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform used to promote or run it.

 Any questions, comments or complaints about the Giveaway must be directed to Dog and Hat Ltd and not to the platform on which it is being promoted.

Limitation of Liability

Dog and Hat is not responsible for any technical failures, network issues, or other matters beyond its reasonable control that affect a person's ability to enter or Dog and Hat's ability to run the Giveaway as planned.

 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dog and Hat accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from entry into the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the Prize. This does not affect entrants' statutory rights.

Right to Cancel or Amend

Dog and Hat reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway at any time where circumstances make this unavoidable, including for reasons outside its reasonable control. Where possible, entrants will be notified via the channel(s) used to promote the Giveaway.

Data Protection

Any personal information provided as part of entry will be used solely to administer the Giveaway (including contacting and announcing the winner) and will be handled in line with Dog and Hat's Privacy Policy, available on our website.

General

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to the Giveaway is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
