About Kings Trust

We were founded by His Majesty King Charles III to tackle the global crisis of youth unemployment and have been supporting young people worldwide since 2015.

We are committed to amplifying the voices of young people on the global stage and putting their needs at the very heart of the design and delivery of our work. This complements global efforts to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those relating to quality education and decent work.
Our programmes and interventions are now present in 20 countries within the Commonwealth and beyond, across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Europe.

We were brought this charity by a friend of Dog & Hat who is joinig the Kings trust CEO challenge. Here is some information in their words:

In September 2026, I am joining a team of senior business leaders completing The King's Trust CEO Challenge. As part of The Trust's 50th anniversary, we are swapping the boardroom for the wild, testing our own resilience and courage, that the young people supported by The Trust show every day. There's nearly 1 million young people across the UK not in employment, education or training.They often feel hopeless about their future, struggling with low confidence, poor mental health and barriers to opportunities.

Our team of business leaders are aiming to raise £500,000 collectively, to show that we believe in the next generation, the future leaders of our industries. The funds will enable The King's Trust to continue being there for young people, giving them the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Please donate, and show your support too. Our Mission, Vision & Purpose

Our mission is to empower young people to learn, earn and thrive. We provide opportunities to develop the skills and confidence to succeed and deliver tangible employment outcomes. We blend our expertise with a global network of local partners and develop programmes and interventions to help young people to build their own futures. Every young person should have the chance to succeed.

Stats That Matter

66% of young people on our programmes have successfully entered work, education or training since 2018. Last year, 7 in 10 young people who participated in our employability programmes entered the labour market, while our enterprise programmes provided young people with the knowledge and skills to start their own business. Since working with KTI, our network of partners have reached almost 4 million young people.
