About

We have converted a beautiful old granary in the picturesque village of East Rounton into a quirky and individual Coffee Roastery.   We are situated in North Yorkshire surrounded by beautiful scenery which inspires us to produce only the finest speciality coffee.

At Rounton Coffee Roasters we understand that working with quality focused suppliers is paramount to running a successful business, that’s why we pride ourselves on being able to source and provide only the highest quality speciality coffees that are freshly roasted in small batches, using specialised software that creates consistent flavour profiles every time.

Quality is what we are about, and we need to ensure that we fulfil our end of the bargain!  As the coffees that we use are all Speciality grade, the green beans actually come to us in either an vacuum packed parcel, or a Plastic Grain Pro bag which gives the raw product a longer shelf life and prevents the coffee from becoming woody with age.  All our green beans have been ethically sourced and can be traced right back to their country of origin. Our importers have wonderful working relations with all our farmers and have personally visited every farm.

We roast every day in small batches and we use the latest roasting software to profile our coffees and to ensure consistency.  We regularly cup our coffees to ensure each batch is hitting the sweet spot.

Rounton Coffee Roasters is our local North Yorkshire Roaster, and it's nice to have such a dedicated & passionate team of people close by taking inspiration from the same area.  They are always on hand to educate and inform... it's amazing really that they can fit it all in around roasting fantastic coffee fresh every day.
