Coffee Facts

The Agro-Helena micro-mill is a young project established by Don William Mora Moreno in 2015 and today mainly managed by his daughter Hellen Mora. Their 45-hectare farm is located in the Terrazú region of Costa Rica, approximately 1700 meters above sea level.

Hellen Mora and her family are very concerned about nature. They also keep 50% of their farm intact to maintain balance with nature and not disturb the microclimate of their fields. Additionally, they decided to focus only on natural and anaerobic treatment methods because these methods generate little to no waste water that could potentially harm the environment if not properly treated. Additionally, all coffee husks produced during coffee processing are composted and returned to the soil.
