What’s your favourite part about working at the Roastery?
We founded the Micro roastery in March this year, after being in the in coffee industry for 8 years we wanted more control on the coffees we offered. With long term goals of finding single farms to create relationships with for supply.
Our roaster is actually in the shop which really adds to our customer experience. Obviously roasting each unique coffee is both challenging and fun trying to find the sweet spot. I suppose the favourite part is being able to engage with customers in between roasting as most love watching the process.
What’s your proudest accomplishment, have you won any awards etc?
Our proudest accomplishment is launching the roastery during such a tough time. Its no secret that this year has proved hard going for most, so to keep moving forward during all of this really has felt like a major win! We’re still relatively new so unfortunately no awards .....YET.

Where would you recommend for food and drink in your local area?
I really enjoy that first coffee in the morning, which Is usually a flat white at home.
