This month I made a visit to a long term subscriber Mo, who works at the London Transport Museum. Mo enjoys coffee, he has worked and run a coffee shop. Mo has worked for the London Transport Museum for a while now as a Philanthropy Executive and is responsible for the ongoing task of raising funds for the Transport Museum. Mo runs the Patrons circle which you pay to join, but get invited to lots of great events.
The Museum is based London Transport Museum: Covent Garden | London | WC2E 7BB and is one of London big tourist attractions. They operate under charity number 1123122. They have over 148 members of start, and over 185 Volunteers supporting the charity (Charity Commission)
I enjoyed the tour by Mo, the entire place is fascinating, the museum details the birth of the underground from 1860 and the story of the iconic designs of the signage and formation of London Transport. This includes the iconic roundel, map and font, posters and more. I would absolutely recommend a visit.
I love all the different things that our subscribers do for work or hobbies and it has been a treat to come and see the Transport Museum and enjoy a cracking tour by Mo! We enjoyed an ice coffee at the end in the Benugo café in the museum. Nice to see you Mo!
