This month see us return to the continent to bring you one of the most exciting coffee roasters in Amsterdam - Rum Baba - then to complete the lineup we have three returning favourites joining them.

First up are one of the most requested roasters that we partner with - the amazing Matt and Anabelle down at Hundred House in Shropshire.

Alongside them is Ste at Django over in Southport, Merseyside.  Ste has been with us since our very first subscription back in 2017, so it's always a joy to get he chance to work with him again.

Finally, returning for this month we have the most requested coffee in the history of Dog and Hat - Lee at Foundry and his now legendary Ethiopia Rocko Mountain.

Rum Baba

Rum Baba have been supply amazing coffee and cakes to the good people of Amsterdam since 2014.  Not only is their coffee amazing but their packaging has an amazingly 80's eye-catching look to it - you will not mistake this coffee for any other :-)

The coffee we have chosen is an El Salvador natural process from the Finca Los Bellotos farm.  This coffee is wonderfully sweet and juicy with pecan notes to go with it (think Pecan Pie in a cup, and you won't be far away).  This coffee includes a rare varietal in it's makeup - the Bernadina, which is a wild hybrid that bears a similarity to Geisha, but is unique to this Pacas farm in El Salvador.

As is often the case on the continent, Rum Baba roast a separate profile for Filter and Espresso.  All our Filter and Assorted members will be receiving the Filter profile and all our Espresso members will be receiving the Espresso profile.

Hundred House

Whenever we bring Hundred House into the subscriptions, we are flooded by comments such as "That coffee is the best of the year for me" or "Wow, how amazing was that coffee" and "Best. Coffee. Ever"... so it's a no-brainer when we get the chance to feature them again.

The coffee we have selected is their Guatemala Finca Villaure washed coffee with notes of Dried Apricot and Baker's Chocolate.  It's a really great example of what Guatemala coffee can be, which is an area currently undergoing somewhat of a crisis with the mass migration of farmers and pickers towards the USA.

All our members will be receiving this Omni-Roast coffee to enjoy.

Django

Ste has been a staple of the Dog and Hat family since we began back in 2017, when he provided a wonderfully floral Ethiopian.

This month we are bringing in our first Burundi for a while (it's an origin we always love) in the form of Ste's Malidadi washed coffee from the Kayanza region.  This coffee has notes of Chestnut, Orange and Red Berries.

All our 3 bag members will be receiving this Omni-Roast coffee.

Foundry

As you can imagine, we get quite a lot of feedback for the coffee and roasters we send out, but nothing quite matches the clamour from our subscribers to include Lee at Foundry and the famous fruit explosion from his Ethiopia Rocko Mountain natural again.

When we had the opportunity to bring this coffee back in this month (it is coming to the end of Lee's 2019 harvest stock), we jumped at it.  The last time we brought this coffee into the subs in 2018, it was more Chocolate Orange tasting notes.... but this time there is no mistaking the fruity hit of the Strawberry and Blueberry.

All our 4 bag members will be receiving this Omni-Roast coffee.

Be aware that this coffee's supply is going to be pretty limited, so if you want to add it as an extra bag to your order, you better get in quick :-)

Dialled In Dark(er)

The Dialled In Dark(er) members this month will be getting a Peru blend from Rum Baba and a smooth Colombia from Foundry.

Dialled In Decaf

Hundred House will be providing their Colombia E.A. Decaffeinated and Foundry will be sending us their Guatemala Swiss Water Decaffeinated coffee.
