About

We are a micro coffee roastery located in the Transvaal buurt, Amsterdam Oost. We take great care in roasting our coffees for all preferred brewing methods. We focus on their characteristics and origin, while seeking the right flavour balance

We are continuously on the look out for great coffee, in search of special flavour profiles and special origin characteristics. With pride and care we roast the selected green coffee to a perfect bean, ready for brewing.

We select our coffee at farm level, knowing exactly where and how our coffee is processed, and striving for a sustainable production chain with mutual benefit.

If you're in Amsterdam, Rum Baba Cafe is your happy eclectic home away from home, located in up-and-coming Amsterdam-Oost. Just a few doors over in our Bakery & Roastery, you can watch us roast your coffee to perfection and see our bakers hard at work to bring you delicious American style cakes and bakes.

Whilst on the lookout for new European roasters to work with, we were drawn to Rum Baba by their amazing 80's inspired branding.   From the moment we first got in touch with them we've been blown away by how helpful and just plain nice they are to deal with.  The coffee they source is exceptional and we think their roast style is going to go down brilliantly with our members.
