Welcome

The coffee has been finalised for this month, and once again we have three great omni-roast coffees for you.

As we have 3 omni-roasts this month, if you're on one subscription-type but prefer the look of the coffee in one of the others you can simply email su@dogandhat.co.uk to swap over - happy in the knowledge that the coffee will work well with your chosen brew method.

We hope you all enjoy this month's selection as much as we do - and don't forget we're running the referral scheme this month, so if any of our subscribers know someone that wants to join the subs you can both get a free bag of coffee or £5 off when they sign-up.

Coffee 1 - Everyone

NORWAY!!!!!

This month we've managed to get hold of coffee from yet another wonderful European roaster for everyone to enjoy.  This time we're very happy to showcase Lippe Kaffe from Oslo, Norway who boast over 10 years’ experience and are holders of 3rd place in the highly competitive Norwegian Roasters Cup for the past two years.

The coffee we've selected from them is a washed Tanzania from the Ilomba washing station in the Mbozi district.  This coffee has notes of plum, nougat and dark chocolate

Coffee 2 - 2x Filter and all 3x Subs

For our Filter and 3x assorted subscribers, we’re revisiting a favourite origin of ours – Burundi - but with a difference from #BrewBurundi.  This month we're bringing you a wonderfully fresh, fruity and citrusy natural Burundi from the excellent Maude Coffee Roasters who are based under the railway arches up here in Leeds.

This coffee is from the recent 2018 harvest in the Kayanza region and is a relatively rare naturally processed coffee full of Blackcurrent, Cranberry, Pear, and Pomegranate notes.

 Coffee 3 - 2x Espresso, 2x Assorted, and all 3x Subs

For our Espresso, 2x and 3x Assorted subscribers we have another treat for you - it's been a long time coming, but we've finally managed to get to work with North Star coffee based in the regenerated docks area of Leeds.

The coffee we've selected is a washed Peru from the Tabacones district in the Northern Highland.  It has wonderful notes of Nectarine, Peach and Milk Chocolate.

This one is a different style of coffee to the Moonroast Peru that we included in March, and it should highlight the diversity that this origin has to offer.
