Welcome to the April edition of the Dialled In Coffee Subscription.

This month we have a Scandi / London focussed subscription for you all to enjoy as we bring Fuglen into the main subscription after their debut appearance in the International Roaster Showcase last year.

While Fuglen are bringing us the Scandi style this month we also head down to the capital to showcase 3 new roasters for the subscription - Mission Coffee Works from Clapton in East London, Hackney Rascal from (unsurprisingly) Hackney by way of (more surprisingly) Guatemala and then Sanctuary Coffee roasting out of Peckham and supporting some amazing animal sanctuaries with their coffee.

Don't forget to click the link to see the April Dialled In subscription coffee in more detail.

Remember, if there are any coffees you are not receiving in your subscription option but you like the look of, head over to the members area and add-on a bag or two.

Fuglen (Oslo, Norway) - Nicaragua Washed [SCA - 86]

The International Roaster Showcase has really allowed us to make some great connections with roasters from across Europe, and we are thrilled to now be able to bring the mighty Fuglen into the main coffee subscription this month.

Fuglen (meaning 'Bird' in Norwegian), based out of Oslo, Norway (as well as Tokyo, Japan) are an amazing roaster in the true Scandinavian style and top this off some beautiful artwork on the bags featuring their mascot, 'Jacko' the parrot.

Fuglen have sourced us a crisp and clean Nicaragua washed coffee (it's been a while since Nicaragua made an appearance in the subscription) with notes of Lemon, Red Grape and Chestnut to enjoy this month.

Fuglen split roast their coffee profiles so our 'main subscription' Espresso and Assorted members will be receiving the Espresso roast profile and all our Filter members will be receiving the Filter roast profile.

Mission Coffee Works (London) - Rwanda Natural [SCA - 87]

We then head down to our first London-based roaster of the month and pay a visit to Mission Coffee Works based in East London.

We have been chatting to Jake and the team over at Mission for a while now trying to find the right coffee for the sub, and we are delighted to have this natural processed Rwanda to share with you.

All our 'main' subscription subscribers will also be receiving this omni-roast coffee with notes of Raspberry Jam and Cane Sugar

Hackney Rascal (London / Guatemala) - Guatemala Washed [SCA - 86.5]

There are a lot of coffee importers around the world, some cover all the major coffee producing regions whereas other focus and specialise in a single origin.  When it comes to Guatemala, for us we always look out for coffee that has been imported by the family owned and female led 'Coffee Bird'... so, imagine our surprise when Alex (her Mum and Sister run Coffee Bird) came to introduce herself to us at the Manchester Coffee Festival and explain that she now had her own roastery 'Hackney Rascal'.

Immediately we set about finding a space for her amazing coffee and the result is this Omni-Roast washed Guatemala coffee with notes of Fig, Orange and Dark Chocolate for all our 3 and 4 bag members to enjoy.

Sanctuary (London) - Burundi Natural [SCA - 87]

Last year, we finally brought Kiss the Hippo into the sub with an amazing Peru coffee roasted for us by Marcus Wood... well, Marcus has moved on from Kiss the Hippo and now runs Sanctuary Coffee Roasters which focuses on Good Coffee and helping Animal Sanctuaries.

We are so happy to be able to bring Sanctuary into the subscription this month to share this wonderful natural processed Burundi coffee with all our 4 bag subscribers.  This Omni-Roast coffee has huge Cherry tasting notes and money from every bag goes to help Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare.

Dialled In Traditional

First up for our Traditional members is a single-origin Brazil espresso from Fuglen with notes of Brown Sugar, Chocolate and Hazelnut.

Alongside that coffee is the Sanctuary Blend from Sanctuary Coffee Roasters, which is a blend of Colombia and Ethiopia coffees with notes of Caramel, Cocoa and Red Berries.

Dialled In Decaf

Our decaf subscribers will be receiving the Colombian washed and E.A. Decaffeinated coffee from Mission Coffee Works with notes of Black Cherry, Milk Chocolate and Roasted Hazelnut.

Alongside that is a second Colombian washed and E.A. Decaffeinated coffee from Sanctuary Coffee Roasters with notes of Almond, Brown Sugar and Berries.
