Hi there, and thanks for your patience.

This month we had two coffees on the subscription that had late production samples landing with us. This was mainly down to the all the bank holidays we've had along with the last minute roaster line-up changes.... but here they are, our grind settings for the Papercup El Salvador and the Big Dog Guatemala.

As it turns out they both worked nicely with fairly similar grind settings - albeit making very different tasting coffees, of course :-)

Welcome to March, only seems like only yesterday we shipped the February subscriptions, I guess a short month.. full of birthdays here, so I have made a lot of cakes and cooked a lot of food! 

FINALLY...This month we are pleased to have A Matter of Concrete coming in from Rotterdam. This one has been  a long time coming…we have been speaking to Rob who won the Coffee Masters at the London Coffee festival pre pandemic in 2019, and we have been trying to source a coffee for months!

It it is with great pleasure that this month we welcome the subscribers from Indy Coffee Box onto our platform, so lets give a huge Dog and Hat welcome to these subscribers, so there are a few more of us now!

This is a blog where we detail the coffee that is coming to subscribers each month. So as a reminder a Dog and Hat subscriber you can buy more bags of any of the coffee available as one off though the members area.

This month we had a late production sample again, so our Dialling In settings for the Unica Costa Rica honey-process didn't make it in time for booklet printing. So here...

Hope you all had a lovely break, we had a lovely long break and have been itching to get back to work in the new year!

A little while ago I got an email from HAYB in Poland, such a lovely email saying how much they love what we do and how can they get involved! I actually didn’t immediately reply to Nick at Hay B and he send another email 3 days later telling me to reply as he wanted to meet us! So I called him instead and he was the loveliest person, and we great to deal with, and I am excited to have them in the subscription, they have been very diligent about their coffee! 

Hello December and all the jingle-bells fun that it brings!

The festive subscription took a fair amount of organising this year! We always go and collect the Christmas coffee in-person in a van which is so much fun. Therefore, not only does the route has to work but now we have to work around Royal Mail strikes and all sorts this yeah... but hey hoho it will all work out brilliantly!

We have the van booked for the 13^th to collect all the coffee and expect to ship on the 15th, so a little earlier than usual, but we need to be nice and early in case of any further delay The roasters have their Christmas jumpers at the ready for the collections!

Thank you all for a very supportive August, I am quite surprised it is September already! I was out in the woods yesterday thinking there are some signs of Autumn already!  Here is a bit more information about the coffee coming in this month, which is all really vibrant.
